WPF *Hot or not

i have been programming a lot in WPF leatly and I must say that it has some adventeges to Windows Forms....

WPF is hot.
It's learning curve is steep though as MS is suggesting graphic designers now develop the UI not the developers and the tools are geared that way. Developers need to learn to be graphic designers and Visual Studio doesn't help the same way Expression Blend does.
